We propose a calligraphy written with the fountain pen.
In
Japan, hanging picture refers to the indian ink written artwork decorated with
the artistically written characters and pictures.However, in western countries
a calligraphy written with the fountain pen is decorated as an interior
design.
Such calligraphy could be on the folding screen, on the
hanging picture, on the Japanese fan etc.
Similiar to our
adoptation of western style to the interior design, a calligraphy have
settled as an oriental style to the interior design.

A letter from a Customer
I am sorry a little
bigger picture, however the left letter is from a customer of
Nakaya.
Many Nakaya customers are also a good
Calligrapher.

pen is Nakaya Piccolo ,
a nib is the elastic fine.
We tend to image to have a
Music or Stub nib which can write a line valiation,
however
a basic choice is a nib which can
write a thin line and describe a line valiation by putting
a writing pressure.
