  • Silver Hyomon Phoenix

    Price: 12,400$
    "Hyomon" technique was used for Nakaya pen for the first time. A craftsman cut sliver board in Phoenix's shape and pasted to the barrel. After painting the lacquer on the whole several times , a craftsman paint Roiro urushi lacquer ware, one more ctaftsman of Chinkin technique engraves in some shapes of Phoenix by a chisel. Hyomon technique exists from old, however it is very difficult to set a silver board to the curved surface so that we do not see this technique except for the artworks which has a flat surface such as a tray , a box etc. We used a special body as base model which has flat both ends for this artwork. The total length with a cap (nib side) is 160mm.

  • "The Descending Dragon" heap up by gold leaf

  • Dorsal Fin ver.1 Tame-nuri finish

    Price: 900$
    By heaping up the urushi lacquer to a cap itself to be a rolloing stopper called the Dorsal fin model, we received an order by the populer Aka-Tame-nuri fifnish. This shapes is Dorsal Fin version 1 model. (The only cap has a rolling stopper.) )The edge of "fin" has a beautiful Tame-nuri . Also the shape of a cap looks like the unoque crescent when we put it horizontaly down and became a unique design. This artwork is Tame-nuri , not Tame-sukashi ,so it does not belong in Tame-sukashi of this corner,but you can add some motif to be Tame-Sukashi work.
    Gold zo-gan inlaying of the grip part is optional. An additonal fee will be charged for it.

  • The string rolled model

    Based on shiro(white)-Tame painting on the Piccolo model, we rolled strings on a cap and a barrel. Traditionally, a craftsman rolled cloth on a ball to increase it's strength. We used this method for design.

    The atomic number 22 is Titanium.Titanium is high strength materials ,but not many products has ever been produced because of it's hardness to produce. This artwork was made from rare Shiro (white)-tame nuri base in order to express right brown color and a quality of a Dutch buffalo's corner.   • Nuno(cloth) kise version

    We put a cloth for whole body of pen and polish up to expose the surface of cloth. Silver color we use this time is tin. A base model is 1mm bigger diameter of ordinal Caigar long size and about 1mm further bigger because of rolling clothes.

  • Aoumi nami Nuri finishing - (Blue wave painting)

    We mix albumen etc. into Urushi lacquer ware to make strong viscosity. After that we made a special comb and scratches the Urushi surface to express waves. Each one is different result because of this process. We showed a few wave patterns and admired by many customers like Hatoh and the Whale and wave.

  • "Jidai Nuri" (An Era Painting)

    Price: 750$
    Jidai means an era. We Nakaya are not sure where this name came from. This technique is a kind of 'Negoro Nuri ('Nuri' means painting). A craftsman paints the base in Shu (vermillion) color by a stapula. After that , he paints in black Urushi on the base and polishes (Togi process in Japanese.) black layer is showing the red color base. Contrary to the barrel, a black Urushi is for the base, layer above is Shu color for a grip section, A craftsman expose the base intentionally by this process.

    A diamond of the highest grade is set in the tip of the cap. A single high quality diamond adds subtle grace at all times, even when you are unaware. This is perfect for adult formal occassions. Specifications: Barrel: Ebonite. The base shape for the body is a Nakaya Equilibrium model. Stone: One natural diamond is imbedded. Carat: 0.1ct. Clarity: VS class. Color: G or F. Cut: near g excellent is selected carefully. As above, Nakaya use the diamond the same grade as the material which is used for the rings therefore it shines very much. Clip: 18K YG (yellow gold).     The pen has been made in the image of a sword with thread wound around the body above the black hairline and finished in dark gray silver.
