The ”Traditional skills, techniques and knowledge for the conservation and transmission of wooden architecture in Japan" including "Urushi tpping technique" are registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2021.
Nakaya will support laquer forest maintenance, management, and conservation activities in the Nino-he city area to produce good quality laquer, cooperating with Platinum Pen Co.,LTD..
