Description: Chinkin technique in general is carving to a body and imbed gold or some colors. This time artwork uses a few more techniques of Chinkin addtinary. Kosuri (rubbing) technique： Technique of rubbing by a chisel and cutting down painted surface to express bokashi effect (gradation) adter carving. Kebori (hair line carving) :Technique for carving line with swinging thinly as animal's hair. Kebori for whole motives, eyes are carved roundly and imbet gold foil (Kinpaku) and tenbori (dot carving) surounds eyes. Beard is senbori (line carving). A pair of fang and tangue are tenbori (dot carving) , bamboo is Kata-nomi bori technique.(This technique is carving by only one side of chisel so that it becomes powerful.) The ground is mixture of Kosuri and Tenbori. This artwork belongs one of top class of Chinkin technique in terms of a mixture of several Chinkin techniques with exactness. There are many points to view.
