Cigar Decapod TW Toki-tame

This model is designed as highlighting the beautiful lines of the polyhedron.
This TW version is added twists to the lines.
Since it is a 4 thread screw, there are 4 entrances for the screw.
So the lines only meet in one certain point.

The combination of the pinkish base color inspired by the Japanese traditional color “toki-iro” and the upper lacquer, shuai urushi create very soft an bright finish.
“Tamenuri” has the characteristics of translucent amber color like being sucked in, so you can clearly see how the lacquer has accumulated.
The combination of shuai urushi lacquer and heki-iro base color create mysterious and beautiful greenish amber finish.
Very high level painting and polishing techniques made it possible to make the corners stand out in streaks. By adding a twist to the lines, the finish is a slightly softer and more gorgeous atmosphere than the Decapod ST model.

The technique of tame-nuri technique is used to recreate the color of a mandarin duck’s feathers.
